Personal Background

Grand Haven has been my hometown for over 30 years.  Originally from Muskegon, I also spent a short time in Holland so I have first hand experience of West Michigan lakeshore living!  My husband, Gord, and I have been married 40 years (oh my!) and raised 3 sons.  Matthew and his family live in Grand Haven where he is the Sports Editor of the local newspaper.  Nicholas and his wife, Jennifer, live in San Diego. Derek and his wife, Janell,  live in Montana where he is an artist and avid flyfisherman. 

Personal Interests

In my "spare time" I love to cook.  Especially if it involves a trip to the local Farmer's Market first!  It is absolutely one of my favorite places.  I also enjoy retail therapy if it involves second-hand and discount stores (including TJ Maxx!)  The deck of our home overlooks a small bayou off the Grand River.  A good book and a glass of wine on the deck watching the swans and other wildlife is the ultimate in relaxation.
